Thailand: Chiang Mai Part II

Louise spent the night at 137 Pillars House with me. It was too eventful of a night. I had to ask for a mosquito net after killing two mosquitoes in the room. After the mosquito net was put up, I later killed another mosquito and Louise killed one. Mosquito nets are the best thing ever invented!!!

Anyhow, we started the day with breakfast at the resort. It was good but not great. There were some mainland Chinese tourists, and they kept breakfast interesting. They cut in line, reached over you for the serving spoon, etc. Not a courteous group of travelers.

After breakfast, we went to a cute coffee shop that is Louise' favorite. It seems very American. Maybe not just American but Bay Area. There were some expats chillin' in the coffee shop with their Macs. They look like hipsters.

Can't be hipsters without a selfie!

Jeremy met up with us for a premium $20 massage, and ate lunch at the famous SP Chicken. I didn't take any pictures of the massage place or the chicken, but it was both VERY good.

The second half of the day was spent sight seeing Wat Pha Bong, and back to Wat Chedi Luang. It was a different site during daytime.

The rest of the evening consisted of going back to the night market and then the South Gate for some street food dinner. Chiang Mai has an awesome street food scene!

Saw a cute tshirt that says "lonely traveler". I had to get it!

Waiting for the pad thai after elbowing some Chinese tourist who was trying to cut in line.
