Thailand: Chiang Mai Part I

After a mildly eventful trip from Saigon to Chiang Mai, I arrived at 137 Pillars House. Jeremy and Louise came shortly after. Thank goodness they were here, or I would've totally been lost. Well, I wouldn't be going to Chiang Mai if it weren't for them, so yes, I'm grateful they were here. I am also very thankful for the elephant pants! After the mosquito bites in Saigon, I am not looking to add more  bites to the collection.

We started the evening by walking through the streets of Chiang Mai. They showed me the night market, helped me purchase more elephant pants, and took me to the Chiang Mai gate for dinner, which is the south gate of Chiang Mai. There were a bunch of street food which I couldn't eat because it was the last night of the diet bet.

Overall, a very eventful first night in Thailand.
My first passing of a temple. This is a pretty temple, but not as impressive as the ones Louise took me to later.

I spotted a cute older couple during the evening walk through the streets of Chiang Mai.
