Thus, they offered a complimentary shuttle to one of the public beaches, Beau Vallon. We left at 10:30 am and got picked up at 4:00 pm. Unfortunately (or fortunately) for us, we chose the ONE DAY that it decided to pour. It was raining cats and dogs! I was worried about taking the camera or the iPhone out for fear it'll get wet. Worst, we didn't have shelter. So we sat at the beach, in the open, no shelter, as the clouds moved in, and rained on us. It was so wet....
Thank goodness it was only bursts of showers and sunshine, then bursts of showers again. But in between the rain and sun, it was cloudy. That really helped, as I don't think we can sit in the Seychelles' sun rays for five hours without a/c or shelter of any sort.

Final thoughts....
First, Seychelles is lovely. We truly had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone who were contemplating a visit. But, if you'd asked me what I thought of the Seychelles, which completes the trifecta of ultimate beach destination consisting of Bora Bora, Maldives, and Seychelles, I would say "it's nice". Would I recommend it over Bora Bora and Maldives?
It depends on what you're looking for. Seychelles has MANY activities, whereas Bora Bora has less, and Maldives' is almost nonexistent. For us, we like to have absolutely NO obligation to do anything while on vacation. And if we have the options to experience or sight see, then we'd feel obligated to go because we're "in the area". So, I'd choose both Bora Bora and Maldives over Seychelles for a return trip.
Second, we received the question "where are you from" quite often. In response, we'd say "guess". Answers were "Korea", "Japan", and "China". We even got a handful of "Ni Hao", with which, I responded "I'm not Chinese". The ones who thought we were from Korea or Japan said our English was too good to be from China. When we told people that we're from America, they were surprised, as America is far away. Yet, no one guessed Europe. We ran into so many Europeans visiting the Seychelles.
