Sydney is all about the culture and the food. There is not much to see in terms of history, but if you MUST get a bit of history in, then there is no better place to be than the Park Hyatt Sydney. It has an awesome view too! (or as awesome as Sydney can get)

And this is one of the WORST rooms! Imagine the suite with the view of the opera house.
Aside from the room and location of the Park Hyatt Sydney, which can't be beat really, the most memorable part of this hotel is the service. From the check-in desk, to the bell person, to the concierge team, everything was perfection. Overall, I'm very impressed with this hotel.
