Singapore - Exploring

The best part about Singapore is how clean the city/country is.  I'm so happy that this was the later part of the trip rather than the beginning.  It's nice to end a trip on a "good note".

Day 1 -
Upon arrival to the MBS, we unloaded, freshened up and headed STRAIGHT to the roof top pool.  This is where relaxed at the air conditioned club lounge.  They had a good variety of food and some beverages (alcohol included), but it didn't compare to the Intercontinental in Bali or Paris.  I felt so spoiled with those two lounges.

We then went to dinner at a restaurant that's "known" for chili crab.  It was pretty good, but nothing out of this world.  Dungeness crab is still the best so far.

Nuts and stuff

The dish that we were looking forward to - chili crab.

Chinese noodles - tasted cantonese

Walk to the restaurant

Day 2:
We started off with breakfast at the Sky Park.  It was pretty awesome.  We didn't know that the chef is supposedly famous.  No wonder the food was pretty decent.

Me happy!

After 2.5 hours of relaxing by the pool, we roamed around for lunch.  Wayne found this food alley that was pretty good.  There were so many choices!  We ended up with some tomato noodles, which was okay, nothing spectacular.

Lunch at a Hawka stand

For Dinner, we roamed around chinatown.  It was by far, the cleanest chinatown ever!  On top of that, there were durian everywhere!

Cleanest chinatown EVER
DURIAN! Coveted fruit - they are EVERYWHERE!

Dinner at a chinatown hawka - good noodles

Think this chicken pepper soup is supposed to be famous - it wasn't too good
