It was a day of venturing and souvenir shopping.
Breakfast at Le Grand Intercontinental Lounge - we tried to get our share of croissants
After a successful day of chocolate shopping - husband was determined to get a picture of me holding the chocolates because I looked so happy
Picture at Seine River - we walked here after getting chocolates and souvenirs. We wanted a last walk, and also to go to Ile St. Louis for some ice cream!!!
We got the ice cream! It was mm mmn delicious! However, Haagan Daz is not far behind.
Finally got Escargot at Le Tastevin (our last dinner in Paris). It's the strangest thing eating there. We got the name of the place off of Rick Steves' travel guide, and I guess the rest of the diners got it there too, as EVERYONE is American. Very different compared to the other places we've dined all week. It felt closer to home already.... = (
The walk back across the Seine River.
